FUDARAKU-JI TEMPLE

Also called "Komachi-dera Temple" because Ono no Komachi, the renowned female poet from the early Heian period, is said to have passed away here. There is a memorial tower for her, as well as the "Aname no Susuki" (Japanese pampas grass) that grew on her body after she passed away.
